Walk With Your Heart

Join us for Walk With Your Heart – a fun and feel-good way to get moving, connect with others, and make a real difference to people affected by cardiomyopathy.

This September, we invite you to take part in Walk With Your Heart, a circular walk taking place in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. You can choose to walk either 2km or 5km to support individuals and families affected by cardiomyopathy.

We'd love our Cardiomyopathy UK community and our local community to come together to join us!

Event details:

Where?

Walk With Your Heart will start and end at the Everyone Active centre in Amersham, which is just around the corner from the Cardiomyopathy UK office. You can choose to walk either a 2km or a 5km loop around Amersham. Participants will have access to the Everyone Active toilets, café and car park. Closer to the event date, we will send the final routes out to our walkers.

When?

Walk With Your Heart will take place on Saturday 26th September 2026. Registration will open at 10am, when you can also pick up your T-shirt if you choose to buy one. We'll all set off at 10:30am, with walkers all following the same route for the first 1.2km.

Who can take part?

Walk With Your Heart is open to everyone, whether you're a supporter of Cardiomyopathy UK or a member of our local community – or you just enjoy walking! Whatever your reason, we would love for you to join. Cardiomyopathy UK Trustees and staff are also looking forward to attending.

Is there a registration fee or fundraising target?

There's a registration fee of £21.50 per person for Walk With Your Heart – under-16s go free.

There's no minimum fundraising target. You're welcome to set up your own fundraising page or fundraise on our collective Walk With Your Heart campaign page. There will also be the opportunity to purchase Cardiomyopathy UK merchandise.
