"There is hope after this diagnosis"
Supporter Denise Harris shares her inspiring story after being diagnosed with idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy and heart failure earlier this year. She has since raised over £800 for us cycling (her passion) over 100 miles in August.
There's a conversation with Professor Perry Elliott on the future of treating cardiomyopathy. Dr Ian McPherson discusses improving access to psychological therapies (IAPT) and the effect living with a long term condition can effect our mental health.
Discover how our Community Support project is going with an update from Community Peer Support Manager Christie Jones, and learn about our new advocacy project- becoming a Cardiomyopathy Change Maker.
Also featured are our exciting Christmas events! This year, we're getting involved in the Big Give, and there's a special 12 Days of Christmas challenge. For those who like to fundraise doing something active, could you run 5k or 10k dressed as Santa for us?
