Sussex Support Group
This support group is for people with any form of cardiomyopathy, their family members, friends and supporters.
This group aims to provide a relaxed environment for people affected by cardiomyopathy and their families to hear from a variety of expert speakers and to meet others living with the condition.
This group is hosted by Jo McQueen who is a Heart Failure Nurse Specialist at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. She is supported by Dr Tommy Alway, who is the Consultant Cardiologist and Service Lead for Inherited Cardiac Conditions at the UH Sussex NHS Trust.

Getting there:
Parking: Parking spaces should be available in the new car park under the Louisa Martindale Building (access on Bristol Gate) with step-free access to the meeting room via the lifts.
Parking Charges:
Up to 2 hours £4.20
2 to 4 hours £8.40
There are 13 disabled badge holder spaces (subject to availability). Charges are waived on exit with production of a valid blue badge.

By train: Brighton Station is the nearest station. From the station, you can catch a bus or get a taxi to the hospital. Bus route 7 runs to the hospital from stop A at the front of the station up to every 6 minutes.
By bus: Routes 1, 1A, 7, N7 14B, 14C, 23, 27C, 37, 37B, 47, 52, 57, 71, 73, 94A, 271 and 272 all stop outside the hospital. View bus times online or call Brighton and Hove Bus Company on 01273 886 200.
