Cardiomyopathy research appeal

Hearts of Hope - cardiomyopathy research funding appeal

For over 30 years, we have supported people affected by cardiomyopathy and fought to ensure they get the care and treatment they need. The people we help feel better able to cope, less scared, less alone and ready to fight back.

A graphic with some stats from our 2023 impact report. 1233 people were supported by our specialist nurses, 265 people were helped by our telephone peer support volunteers, 2006 active members on our closed Facebook group, and 99 percent of conference attendees felt they had learnt more about their condition.

We will never stop supporting people who face the physical, emotional and practical impact of cardiomyopathy every day. But the time is now right to think about the future. A future where anyone with cardiomyopathy can live a long and fulfilling life.

Our goal is to fund groundbreaking research that will deepen our understanding of cardiomyopathy, improve diagnosis and treatment, and ultimately enhance the quality of life for those affected.

This festive season, we invite you to join us. Your donation will help us:

  • to provide small grants which will fund work to test ideas that could ultimately lead to answers for your priority research questions.
  • invest in talented people with potential to become future leaders in cardiomyopathy research.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to a future where everyone with cardiomyopathy can live a long and fulfilling life.
