“I am hugely excited to be joining Cardiomyopathy UK. Thanks to the tremendous commitment of the team, trustees, volunteers, and donors, the charity has made huge strides over the past few years, and I am very much looking forward to driving the charity’s ambitious strategy forwards over the coming years. By working with the community and the broader ecosystem to further raise awareness of the condition, and to deliver more support, more research, and ultimately better treatments and therapies, I firmly believe that we can deliver significant long-term impact to all of those affected by cardiomyopathy.

I’m very much looking forward to getting to know Cardiomyopathy UK’s many supporters and volunteers, and spending time with the broader community.”

Anna succeeds Joel Rose, who has led Cardiomyopathy UK for the past 10 years. Joel leaves the organisation with a clear plan for growth, transformation and progress.

Rita Sutton, Chair of the Trustees, expressed gratitude for Joel’s contributions and excitement for the charity’s next chapter:

“On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am delighted to welcome Anna to Cardiomyopathy UK. Anna comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. I am confident that as our next CEO she will provide the leadership necessary to help us meet our ambitious plans for the future.”

Cardiomyopathy UK remains committed to supporting everyone affected by cardiomyopathy through information, resources, and a dedicated community network. Under Anna’s leadership, the charity looks forward to continuing its vital work and expanding its impact.
