Professor Carr-White is a Consultant Cardiologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London and a Reader in heart failure and Inherited cardiac Diseases at King’s College London. At St Thomas’ Hospital, he is the clinical lead for cardiology, heart failure and inherited cardiac diseases and leads the inherited cardiac disease service across King’s Health Partners which sees in excess of 5000 patients a year.
His research interests include imaging-guided assessment and modelling of cardiomyopathies and heart failure and assessment, and optimisation of cardiac resynchronisation therapy. He has published in excess of 100 peer-reviewed papers in this field. Previously he has been the South East London Cardiac Network lead for heart failure and inherited cardiac diseases, and the national clinical reference group for inherited cardiac diseases advising NHS England.
