The Edinburgh Marathon Festival is back on May 24th 2025!

Choose an event and set a personal best at one of the biggest running festivals in Scotland!

The Edinburgh Marathon Festival is a fantastic event for all abilities; whether you're a first-time runner or a seasoned pro, this event is not to be missed.

Fast & flat, this course was voted the fastest marathon in the UK, ideal if it's your first marathon or you are looking for a PB! Enjoy the all-compassing route which takes in some of Edinburgh's most iconic landmarks as well as offering picturesque views along the East Lothian coastline.

Fundraising safely

Many of those who take on full and half marathons for Cardiomyopathy UK have a connection to cardiomyopathy. We have a policy in place to ensure that anyone undertaking a half marathon through a charity place with us is able to do so safely. To read our policy on fundraising safely, click here.
